Treat the advertised bundle as an offer to verify. Check renewal price, limits, which application performs each task and whether existing work remains accessible. Do not compare a promotional bundle amount with a competitor's full annual list price without labeling the different terms.

Choose three real tasks: one new article, one declining post and one topic outside your usual subject. Before opening a tool, write what would make each result useful.
For the new article, require a distinct reader question and a credible research plan. For the declining post, require an explanation of what should change and what should stay. For the unfamiliar topic, check whether the recommendations fit your expertise and business rather than following an attractive metric.

Surfer's pricing page defaults to annual equivalents. Its annual document limits arrive as a yearly allocation; monthly subscriptions reset each month without rollover. Use the current pricing breakdown before comparing costs with RankIQ's advertised offer.
A library of keyword ideas, a content-editor document and an AI-generated draft are different units. Ask both vendors how your planned eight articles would consume allowances. Include revisions and exploratory reports in that question.
When to stay with what you already use
Keep RankIQ if the library supplies relevant opportunities and your editorial process works. A competitor's broader feature list does not repay switching time by itself.
Keep Surfer if it already fits the team's writing and review process. Before switching for a discount, check whether writers will lose a useful integration or whether another subscription would be needed to replace a specific task.
